Spanish Point Sea Vegetables - Sea Spaghetti
The fourth generation of the Talty Family in Quilty, County Clare, harvested and packaged this valuable and precious sea vegetable. The latin name is Himanthalia Elongata.
It is harvested by hand between the Burren in the north and Loop Head in the south of County Clare. It is then dried naturally by the sun and the wind.
Sea Spagetti is rich in Vitamin C. On the pack itself there is a delicious and healthy recipe which is easy to replicate in your kitchen. It can be cooked with pasta, especially recommended when served with a seafood sauce.
