In September 2011, a food scout from France sent us an inconspicuous email starting with the words “Why not export to France?”. A few days later we met him in our visitor centre and had him easily convinced of the quality of our salmon. A year later, we are about to start working with BIOCOOP, a network of more than 330 independent organic shops all over France.
We are very excited about this opportunity to enter the whole of the French market with four of our hot smoked organic salmon varieties. The hot smoked salmon is little known outside Scandinavia but always proves a winner when people taste it in our visitor centre. So we are confident that our products will “make it out there” – once tasted, never forgotten!
