Birgitta will be jetting over to the East coast of America to support our Bord Bía marketing advisor over there in his effort to develop the US market. It will be a mixture of a market visit organised by Bord Bía, meeting potential customers at the Boston Seafood Show and a tasting event in New York.
The visit will start off with a day at the Boston Seafood Show where Birgitta will meet with potential customers. This is followed by two days of visiting retailers and foodservice businesses, a tour organised by Bord Bía.
Then she will hop over to New York City to do a salmon tasting day on 13th March at the SoHo branch of Dean & Deluca. This event was organised in conjunction with Good Food Ireland – just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! On the same day in the same Dean & Deluca shop, Clodagh McKenna will launch her new cookbook “Clodagh’s Kitchen Diaries” in the US.
